Job Description

Essential Job Functions: Hiring, training, evaluating, motivating, and monitoring staff performance Manage staff disciplinary concerns Manage the costs associated with department staffing levels and overtime - Responsible for achieving desired revenue per employee targets Conduct staff meetings to ensure communication of department standards, company policies and goals Continuous Improvement: Establish yearly individual objectives, benchmarks and goals Track and monitor progress of all direct reports Maintain the Company’s Standards of High Quality: Ensure adherence to procedural standards through regular performance and quality control (QC) reviews Communicate client and company requirements using a structured, well documented approach Ensure client (internal or external) deadlines are communicated and met Work closely with clients (internal or external) to ensure their needs and expectations are met Respond to internal or external client concerns, issues and complaints & proactively solicit their feedback Participate in special projects as assigned Such other activities as may be assigned by the Senior Director Manage resource utilization, revenue/ employee goals vs targets etc. Monitor and review trend analysis on dashboard/ MIS/ performance reports and recommend/ guide solutions and efficiency measures for further improvements. Accomplish and present monthly performance of projects/ process, project plans, vital factors and goals to reporting manager Monitor and review vital factors/ goals of Managers and suggest solutions/ feedback for accomplishing the same at all times Develop & deploy requisite strategies for retention of employees and resource realignment as needed Identify the training needs of individual managers and guide/ coach them Support Finance team in providing details for preparing monthly invoices To adhere to organization’s Information security policies and procedures such as Acceptable use policy. To adhere to the Quality Management System and contribute to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its performance Other activities as may be assigned by your manager Qualifications/ Requirements: Any graduate, diploma, or postgraduate in any discipline. Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent. Prior experience as General Manager and above (Min 12+ years in Team Handling). 18 - 20 years of overall experience in the US Mortgage domain. Managed a team of 100+ members. Ability to assess, modify, and create new processes, procedures and controls Ability to gather, research, compare and analyze complex data and develop clear logical interpretation and application Ability to compose professional correspondence independently for internal or external clients Superior verbal communication skills for client facing interactions Superior verbal and written presentation skills for internal staff utilized in training and conducting meetings Proficient in Microsoft Office including the basic functionality of Excel, Word and Outlook Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills required for internal and external clients Ability to take high level direction, formulate a plan to achieve the goals, and execute the plan Self-motivated with the initiative to research, question, and apply information Independently organizes, tracks and prioritizes assigned work including managing internal and external requests effectively and within acceptable timelines Analyze staffing levels and anticipates staffing needs; capacity planning Responsible for monitoring, reporting and escalating the status of workflow timelines in adherence with internal and external service level requirements Maintains a positive attitude Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team Knowledge of Six Sigma is a plus.
