The company specializes in data organization and deploying ESG expert-ready AI models for sustainability-related queries and tasks. EcoRatings is at the forefront of developing proprietary AI and blockchain solutions for carbon measurement, reporting, and validation, including Carbon Credits minting. Based in Noida, EcoRatings is committed to advancing the Sustainability vertical with innovative technology. Role Description We are seeking an experienced and driven Vice President of Sales to lead our go-to-market strategy and expand our presence in the ESG and sustainability tech landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise tech sales , combined with a solid understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) frameworks, regulations, and market dynamics . Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy aligned with its vision to become the market leader in ESG GenAI solutions. Identify, target, and close large enterprise and institutional accounts across India and global markets. Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team. Establish and nurture relationships with ESG decision-makers, sustainability heads, and compliance leaders across sectors. Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging, go-to-market motions, and feedback loops. Stay current with ESG trends, reporting standards (e.g., BRSR, CSRD, GRI, TCFD), and sustainability technology developments. Represent EcoRatings at industry events, sustainability conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership. Proven track record of driving successful sales across international markets beyond India." Led end-to-end sales lifecycle, overseeing everything from lead generation to deal closure and sales operations." Requirements: 5+ years of sales experience in B2B technology solutions, with at least 3+ years in ESG/sustainability tech or services. Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets in a SaaS, AI, or enterprise software environment. Deep knowledge of ESG data frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry needs. Strong network across sustainability leaders, ESG consultants, and enterprise decision-makers. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or postgraduate qualification in business, sustainability, or a related field is preferred.
