Department: Human Resources
Reports To: CEO / Managing Director / CHRO (depending on structure)

The Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the organization’s people strategy, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, and fostering a high-performance culture. This role oversees all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, learning & development, HR operations, and compliance. The VP HR serves as a strategic advisor to the leadership team and plays a critical role in shaping organizational growth and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and business goals.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on culture building, employee engagement, and change management.

Talent Management & Development

  • Lead talent acquisition strategy to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Establish leadership development and training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization.

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Foster a positive workplace culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Oversee grievance handling, conflict resolution, and employee relations strategies.
  • Implement employee engagement surveys and action plans to improve satisfaction and retention.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Design competitive compensation structures and benefits programs aligned with industry benchmarks.
  • Lead annual performance appraisal and reward management systems.
  • Ensure pay equity, compliance, and cost optimization.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee HR operations, policies, and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Drive HR digital transformation through HRMS and analytics-driven decision-making.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Mentor, coach, and lead the HR team to deliver high-impact results.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure HR is a strategic business partner.
  • Represent HR in board-level discussions and decision-making forums.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record in driving HR strategy in mid to large-scale organizations.
  • Strong expertise in organizational development, talent management, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Excellent knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
