Unit Manager - Business Excellence

Role Overview: You will be responsible for applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies and change management practices to lead project execution. Your role will involve creating FMEA, Process Maps, VSM, and utilizing relevant Quality tools at Green Belt level. Additionally, you will utilize Power Platform Tools, VBA Macros, Generative AI, and RPA Tools. Your proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel & PowerPoint, will be essential. You will also deliver training on Green Belt level Six Sigma concepts and demonstrate strong analytical skills for estimation, capacity calculation, FTE requirement, and predictive accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and change management practices for project execution - Create FMEA, Process Maps, VSM, and utilize relevant Quality tools at Green Belt level - Utilize Power Platform Tools, VBA Macros, Generative AI, and RPA Tools - Deliver training on Green Belt level Six Sigma concepts - Demonstrate analytical skills for estimation, capacity calculation, FTE requirement, and predictive accuracy - Identify gaps, conduct root cause analysis, and provide solutions to stakeholders - Manage stakeholders through collaboration, facilitation, and influence - Plan and analyze to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization - Communicate effectively with senior leadership, business partners, and customers globally - Apply prior knowledge and hands-on experience in Operations and enabling functions to detect and resolve gaps - Create an encouraging and efficiency-driven environment - Collaborate effectively with people of different functions and needs/requirements - Exhibit excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills - Make informed decisions and demonstrate strong negotiation and convincing skills - Find creative and innovative solutions to business problems - Develop relationships with internal and external clients - Identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions Qualifications Required: - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - Applied knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies - Experience in creating FMEA, Process Maps, VSM, and utilizing Quality tools at Green Belt level - Proficiency in Power Platform Tools, VBA Macros, Generative AI, and RPA Tools - Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel & PowerPoint - Training delivery skills on Green Belt level Six Sigma concepts - Strong analytical skills for estimation, capacity calculation, FTE requirement, and predictive accuracy - Total experience of 5-7 years - Stakeholder management skills for collaboration, facilitation, and influencing - Planning and analytical skills for continuous improvement and innovation - Good communication, interpersonal, and project management skills - Ability to work effectively with people of different functions and needs/requirements Company Details: MetLife is recognized on Fortune magazine's list of the "World's Most Admired Companies" and Fortune Worlds 25 Best Workplaces.
