Trade Finance Officer

Job Summary: The Trade Finance Executive will manage and coordinate all trade finance activities related to import and export transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IDPMS and EDPMS systems and a strong understanding of international trade documentation, banking procedures, and finance operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end import and export documentation and processing using IDPMS and EDPMS. Liaise with banks, customs authorities, freight forwarders, and suppliers to ensure smooth trade finance operations. Prepare and verify Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, and other trade finance instruments. Ensure timely submission and reconciliation of import/export documents and payments. Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for shipment scheduling and documentation. Monitor foreign exchange exposure and coordinate with treasury for currency management. Maintain records and reports related to trade finance transactions and compliance. Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and other regulatory requirements in import/export finance. Support audit and internal control processes related to trade finance activities. Resolve discrepancies and issues related to trade finance transactions efficiently. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in trade finance operations with strong knowledge of IDPMS and EDPMS. Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs clearance, and banking procedures. Understanding of international trade finance instruments like LC, BG, Bills of Exchange. Proficient in using trade finance software and MS Office applications. Good communication and coordination skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
