Key Responsibilities: - Provide day-to-day Application Management support for Basware AP Applications, including IT Service Management tasks such as service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management, and problem management as a Level 2 or 3 Application Management Specialist. - Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Coordinate the resolution of complex technical issues and system outages, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and offer advice on Basware solutions and designs. - Develop and maintain documentation, including configuration details, user guides, and test scripts. - Mentor and train junior Basware functional and technical team members, sharing best practices and providing guidance on troubleshooting techniques. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Basware best practices to enhance operational efficiency through automation and innovation. - Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support as necessary to ensure the availability and reliability of critical Basware systems. - Be prepared to work varying shift hours based on client requirements across different regions (Australia, Asia, Europe, and Americas). Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related technology field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent job experience. - 3-7 years of experience in one or more areas within Basware, preferably with global clients. - Proficiency in working with Oracle/SQL databases, Microsoft technologies, Microsoft operating systems, XML, Web Services, and integration with SAP systems. - Strong technical background encompassing SQL, web servers, enterprise application support, networking, XML, HTML, or other relevant technologies. - In-depth understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes and their interaction with application lifecycle management principles. - Ability to lead cross-functional and technical teams, provide guidance, and facilitate discussions with various stakeholders. - Extensive experience in client management within a global setting, including setting up, growing, transforming, and managing application management teams. - Strong leadership, team-building, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate teams towards excellence. - Effective client management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and a data-driven decision-making approach. - Proven track record of supporting Basware domain expert modules, resolving incidents, handling change requests, and optimizing business processes. - Excellent cross-functional communication skills with experience in offshore/onshore models. - Demonstrated ability to work independently in time-critical environments, with flexibility in managing work hours as needed.
