Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of engineering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. This role requires strong expertise in data-driven decision making, delivery governance, process improvement, risk management, and stakeholder communication across globally distributed teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• Domain:

  Must be from IT / Software / Technology.

• Experience:

  5–8 years total; minimum 3 years in Project Management / PMO / Governance roles.

• Career Stability:

  Minimum 2+ years each in the last two organizations.

• Education:

  Full-time BE/BTech (or equivalent engineering degree).

• Certification:

  PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM / CAPM (mandatory for submission).

• Project Exposure:

  Experience managing long-duration software projects (6+ months).

• Work Nature:

  Strong expertise in governance, delivery metrics, RCA, risk & dependency tracking. Profiles limited to only coordination/MIS will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle including planning, execution, tracking, and delivery.
• Establish and standardize project artifacts such as charters, plans, backlogs, and reports.
• Track engineering KPIs including velocity, cycle time, defects, burn-down metrics, and delivery trends.
• Analyze project data to identify gaps, drive RCA, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Govern risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests through structured processes.
• Create and publish dashboards, health reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Utilize Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence), SharePoint, Excel, and reporting frameworks to drive visibility.
• Partner with engineering teams to promote continuous improvement and process adherence.
• Lead PMO activities, conduct gap assessments, and implement best practices for quality delivery.
• Act as a change agent to strengthen engineering discipline and delivery excellence.

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of Project Management experience within IT; 5–8 years overall.
• Certified in PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM or equivalent.
• Strong command over Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall models.
• Hands-on in delivery metrics, KPI governance, dashboards, and analytical insights.
• Expertise in risk, issue, dependency, and change management.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and advanced Excel/reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical thinking.

Good to Have

• Experience in Development, QA, or Business Analysis roles.
• Exposure to managing multi-team or organization-level programs.
• Knowledge of Power BI or report automation tools.
• Experience working with global customers and distributed teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as MS Copilot.
