Project Manager – ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution:

a. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and risks. 

b. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skills are assigned to the right tasks. 

c. Task Management: Oversee project tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. 

d. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. 

e. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and any changes. 

f. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. 

g. Issue Resolution: Address any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution, finding solutions to keep the project on track. 

h. Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, assessing the impact and communicating changes to stakeholders. 


2. Pre-Sales Activities:

a. Estimation: Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate project estimations based on scope, resources, and timelines. 

b. Proposal Development: Assist in the development of proposals, including defining project scope, deliverables, and pricing. 

c. Client Interaction: Engage with potential clients to understand their requirements and provide insights into project feasibility and approach. 

d. Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks associated with proposed projects, highlighting any concerns or challenges during the pre-sales stage.

 

3. Strategic Planning:

a. Business Strategy: Contribute to the development of the company's overall business strategy, aligning engineering efforts with business goals. 

b. Engineering Strategy: Develop strategies to optimize engineering processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation. 

c. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities. 

d. Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on the company's product offerings and development processes. 

e. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project delivery, resource utilization, and client satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. 


4. Team Collaboration:

a. Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. 

b. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, and product management to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives. 

c. Mentorship: Mentor and coach team members, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally. 


5. Continuous Improvement:

a. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness. 

b. Feedback Loop: Solicit feedback from team members, stakeholders, and clients to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly. 

c. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry best practices, project management methodologies, and emerging trends through training, conferences, and networking.

Requirements :

·       Expert in Communication.

·       Technical competence - Hands-on knowledge in Enterprise web application development. MERN, Cloud, Capable of creating scalable, secure, cost-effective web and Mobile applications.

·       Good with Project Management Tools. Like., Asana, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.

·       Expert in Project Planning, Scheduling, Tracking and Budgeting.

·       Team and Workload Management.

·       Leadership Skills.

·       Client Communication and Requirement understanding.

·       Expert in Agile and Scrum Methodologies.

·       Good Problem Solving.
