As the Tech Manager, you will shape the strategic and technical direction, drive growth, ensure operational excellence, and guarantee Opvia.in fulfills its mission of enabling business expansion beyond borders for its clients.


Role Overview

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with operational and business leadership, able to scale service-based businesses while leveraging technology to improve client delivery, internal processes, and automation. With a capable HR team already in place, your focus will be on building operational excellence, driving sales and marketing support, strengthening client delivery systems, and integrating technology across workflows.


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategy & Growth


  • Define and execute the company’s strategic roadmap to position Opvia.in as a global leader in offshore team building.
  • Identify and expand into new markets, industries, and client segments.

  • Build strategic partnerships

    with global companies, accelerators, and venture-backed firms seeking offshore teams.


2. Operations, Delivery & Technology Integration


  • Oversee

    day-to-day operations

    ensuring seamless delivery across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and client servicing.
  • Streamline systems and processes for scalability, from client onboarding to infrastructure and remote team management.
  • Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions,

    including coding in Python, SQL, and React,

    to improve internal processes and client delivery.
  • Implement measurable KPIs for operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and turnaround time.
  • Drive technology integration and automation across operational workflows.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize tools, dashboards, and platforms that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to improve client-facing systems and internal platforms.



3. Sales & Marketing Support


  • Partner with the business development team to support customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Provide insights on tech-enabled solutions that improve client delivery and value.
  • Assist in pricing, retention, and upselling strategies from a technology perspective.


4. Leadership & Culture


  • Lead senior managers across operations, client delivery, and technology.
  • Maintain a high-performance culture focused on ownership, client value, and transparency.
  • Collaborate closely with HR for workforce planning and leadership development.


Qualifications / Required Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (mandatory)

    .
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior operational or P&L role.

  • Proficiency in

    coding and technical tools: Python, SQL, React.

  • Proven technical experience managing software, platforms, or digital systems in a business environment.
  • Experience scaling a service-based or outsourcing/offshoring company.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, sales funnels, and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success in operational efficiency, systems building, and revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
