Tech Director


Role Overview

end-to-end technology ownership

You will:

  • Architect & build the pilot version (MVP)

    : regulatory rules engine, compliance dashboard, and test scheduling module.

  • Lead technology strategy

    : choose tech stack, build scalable architecture, and ensure security & compliance readiness (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).

  • Work cross-functionally

    : with regulatory consultants, data scientists, and product managers to design features that solve real customer problems.

  • Build & scale a team

    : hire engineers, data scientists, and DevOps as the platform matures.

  • Drive innovation

    : leverage GenAI/Agentic AI for regulatory document interpretation, intelligent mapping, and automation.


Key Responsibilities

  1. MVP Development (first 12–18 months)

  • Define system architecture for regulatory intelligence engine, document automation, and compliance workflows.
  • Develop core modules:
  • Regulatory rules engine (mapping products → applicable regulations/tests).
  • AI-powered compliance navigator (natural language → actionable requirements).
  • Document automation (CER, Risk Management, Technical Files).
  • Pre-certification test scheduling module (link with partner labs).
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and data security frameworks.

  1. Scaling to Market-Ready Product

  • Ensure product scalability for multi-industry, multi-region adoption.
  • Implement APIs/integrations with test labs, regulatory databases, and customer ERP/QMS.
  • Establish robust data protection (privacy by design, encryption, secure cloud).
  • Prepare platform for external audits (ISO, SOC2).


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software development/architecture, with at least 3+ years in a

    leadership/CTO/Tech Director role

    .
  • Proven experience building

    SaaS platforms

    , preferably in

    RegTech, HealthTech, or Enterprise B2B software

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    cloud-native architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)

    ,

    microservices

    ,

    APIs

    , and

    data security frameworks

    .
  • Exposure to

    AI/ML/NLP technologies

    (GenAI for regulatory/document automation is a plus).
  • Familiarity with

    medical device regulations (EUMDR, FDA, CDSCO, ISO 13485, ISO 27001, IEC 62304)

    is a strong plus.
  • Strong leadership and team-building experience — ability to scale a team from scratch.
