Sales Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales agents to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Provide hands-on support during

    sales escalations

    , such as assisting agents with difficult leads, complex objections, or high-value clients.
  • Coach and guide team members through sales calls, helping them improve conversion and communication skills.
  • Monitor individual and team performance through KPIs, CRM reports, and live call reviews.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, huddles, and one-on-one sessions to provide feedback, recognize achievements, and address performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies and campaigns that drive sales growth.
  • Ensure consistent use of sales scripts, tools, and best practices.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new sales agents.
  • Foster a high-energy, positive, and accountable team culture.
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership or senior sales role.
  • Strong ability to coach, mentor, and support team members in live sales scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience in handling sales objections and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or similar tools).
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure in a target-driven environment.
  • High level of initiative, ownership, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in U.S.-based outbound or inbound sales processes
  • Certification in Sales (e.g., HubSpot Sales Certification, Sandler Training, or similar) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
  • Experience working with U.S. clients or markets in B2B or B2C sales environments.
  • Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral or American accent preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
