Roles and responsibilities

Client Servicing & Retention

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively drive renewals and minimize churn through regular client engagement.
  • Handle escalations and provide solutions to client concerns quickly and effectively.
  • Share product/service updates, enhancements, and best practices to keep clients engaged.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize client value and revenue.
  • Develop account growth plans for key clients to maximize long-term business potential.

Sales Growth & Strategy

  • Plan and achieve sales and renewal targets within stipulated timelines.
  • Create strategies to increase account penetration in existing clients and identify new opportunities in untapped markets.
  • Ensure team members follow structured processes for renewals, upselling, and client engagement.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, reviews, and industry interactions.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, motivate, and guide the assigned team to consistently meet business objectives.
  • Monitor team performance through a regular tracking system and provide coaching where required.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance sales and client servicing skills.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client-first attitude within the team.
  • Support team members in client interactions and help close critical renewals or upsell deals.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly reports on team activities, client renewals, and sales performance.
  • Track key metrics such as retention rates, upsell conversions, and client satisfaction scores.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management on performance and client feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems for all client interactions and renewal pipelines.

Additional Expectations

  • Stay updated with industry developments and market trends to guide the team and clients effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (support, operations, and product) to improve service offerings.
  • Take ownership of key accounts and ensure delivery of consistent value.
  • Drive continuous improvement by suggesting new processes and initiatives for client retention and servicing.
  • Perform any other role or responsibility as assigned from time to time.
