Role Overview

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Partnering

  • Collaborate with leaders and hiring managers to understand role requirements and team goals.
  • Define selection criteria, competencies, and hiring success metrics.

2. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline

  • Source candidates through job portals, social platforms, referrals, communities, and events.
  • Build a strong pipeline for recurring roles such as developers, designers, and product talent.
  • Use creative sourcing strategies for niche positions.

3. Recruitment Process Management

  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle: job postings, screening, interviews, assessments, and offer negotiations.
  • Ensure timely communication and excellent candidate experience.
  • Use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track, manage, and evaluate applications.

4. Employer Branding & Outreach

  • Drive employer branding initiatives across digital platforms.
  • Represent the company at hiring events, campus drives, and community meetups.
  • Strengthen relationships with external recruiting partners and educational institutions.

5. Hiring Strategy & Forecasting

  • Participate in workforce planning with leadership to map quarterly and annual hiring needs.
  • Identify hiring challenges and propose process improvements to reduce time-to-fill.

6. Metrics & Reporting

  • Track recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, and source effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular hiring dashboards and status updates.

7. Candidate Relationship Management

  • Maintain relationships with past applicants and passive talent pools.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company’s culture and values.

8. Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Stay updated on industry hiring trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Implement efficient and scalable hiring SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 2–5 years

    of talent acquisition experience in IT, design, product, or technology-driven environments.
  • Proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment and hiring for technical and creative roles.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, GitHub, Behance, Dribbble, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with metrics and data.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
