Job Description

Role: Senior Python Backend Engineer Experience: 7+ Years Location: Bangalore Type: Full-time Responsibilities Backend Development: Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django), ensuring high performance and security. Cloud Infrastructure: Manage deployment and infrastructure using AWS services. Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams across India and the US. Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Qualifications Education: B.Tech in Computer Science or related field. Experience: 7+ years of backend development with Python. Extensive experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Expertise in cloud platforms (preferably AWS), GraphQL, and PostgreSQL. Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, and testing methodologies. Required Skills Backend Development: Proficient in building scalable systems and APIs. Frameworks & Libraries: Strong knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, Django, and GraphQL. Databases: Advanced experience with PostgreSQL; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus. Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS). Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing applications for speed and scalability. Security: Understanding of application security best practices. Additional Tools: Knowledge of caching (Redis), messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and monitoring tools. Preferred Skills Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and automation practices. Experience working in a startup environment. Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio. Show more Show less
