Job Description

Function/Department:

Job Purpose

Drive Thermax’s sustainability and ESG agenda through carbon accounting (Scope 1, 2 & 3), resource efficiency, circular economy initiatives, and sustainability reporting. Ensure compliance with global ESG frameworks (BRSR, GRI, CDP, TCFD, DJSI, EcoVadis) and integrate sustainability across business functions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sustainability and ESG strategies aligned with business goals.
Lead carbon footprint assessment, net-zero roadmap, and renewable energy initiatives.
Drive water balance studies, waste reduction, and circular economy programs.
Manage ESG reporting, disclosures, and compliance with statutory and global frameworks.
Collaborate with sourcing for supply chain sustainability and sustainable procurement.
Conduct climate and biodiversity risk assessments and aspect-impact studies.
Engage internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance ESG performance.
Key Challenges
Achieving decarbonization and net-zero targets.
Ensuring transparent ESG communication and reporting.
Adapting to evolving sustainability and regulatory standards.
