Sustainability Manager

As a Manager - Sustainability at AB InBev India, based out of Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in driving and supporting the sustainability strategy and execution for BU India. Your primary responsibilities will include leading water stewardship, climate action, smart agriculture, and circular packaging initiatives. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Drive and execute strategic sustainability initiatives, including cross-functional PMOs for various pillars such as packaging and carbon emissions. - Lead water-shed projects in critical breweries, managing relationships with external stakeholders like NGOs and implementation partners, and closely monitoring progress with plant teams. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to lead impact-driven special projects geared towards sustainable development of farmers and supply-chain security. - Serve as the internal leader and expert on sustainability in India, staying abreast of emerging trends, programs, and issues, and educating others on sustainability topics. - Collaborate with start-ups to address sustainability challenges and implement pilots, lead internal colleague-driven committees, review and monitor carbon emissions, and develop roadmaps for emission reduction. - Work with Communications and creative teams to ensure efficient internal and external communication practices are established. - Measure and monitor progress against sustainability strategies, objectives, and performance targets for all projects and future strategic priorities. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Masters degree or higher, preferably in Environmental Management or MBA from top-tier B-Schools. - Skills/Knowledge: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders, networking skills in start-up communities, prior experience in sustainability or plant operations, ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and essential computer operating skills.
