Role Overview

As the Strategic Product & Venture Development – Founder’s Office Associate

foundational role

  • Launching new product lines
  • Designing venture concepts
  • Conducting deep ecosystem research
  • Managing collaborations with payment integrators
  • Building decks for partners/investors
  • Expanding digital commerce adoption
  • Establishing frameworks for artisanship & cultural commerce
  • Supporting internal product & tech strategy
  • Working with small cross-functional teams
  • Overseeing early-stage organisational development

You will help convert raw vision into structured, validated, investor-ready and market-ready outcomes.


Core Responsibilities

1. Venture Strategy & New Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities across payments, commerce, Ad-Tech, and SaaS/PaaS.
  • Map value chains, define intervention points, and evaluate potential venture models.
  • Co-create new product lines, pilot concepts, and market entry frameworks.
  • Assist in evaluating partnerships with payment aggregators, gateways, facilitators, and commerce ecosystem providers.

2. Product Strategy & Market Readiness

  • Translate founder vision into structured product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Support competitive research, pricing models, user journeys, and ecosystem positioning.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, product documentation, and feature prioritisation.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, modelling, and ideation.

3. Decks, Presentations & Strategic Narratives

  • Create product decks, venture pitch decks, GTM decks, and partner presentations.
  • Prepare strategic models for banks, payment integrators, vendors, and retail/e-retail collaborators.
  • Build investor-grade narratives and market opportunity documents.

4. Ecosystem Partnerships & Outreach

  • Support outreach efforts with PSPs, payment gateways, retail/e-retail partners, and commerce networks.
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities, partnership synergies, and co-creation opportunities.
  • Assist in designing joint venture frameworks, commercial models, and partnership decks.

5. Digital Transformation & Cultural Commerce Enablement

  • Understand challenges of artisans, micro-vendors, MSMEs, and underserved ecosystem players.
  • Help build models that bring craft, culture, and artisanal commerce into digital-first platforms.
  • Support initiatives that expand digital payments, digital banking & vendor onboarding.

6. Organisation Development & Internal Strategy

  • Contribute to company policy formation, documentation, compliance, and governance strategies.
  • Assist hiring, team onboarding, training frameworks, and cross-department coordination.
  • Work with tech, design, operations, marketing, and sales teams to ensure strategic alignment.

7. Founder’s Office Execution

  • Manage research cycles, project trackers, internal updates, and multi-stakeholder communication.
  • Handle strategic tasks that require confidentiality, speed, depth, and precision.
  • Ensure deadlines are met with an ownership mindset and readiness to stretch when needed.

  • Fintech / Payments / Banking tech roles
  • Consulting (strategy, digital, fintech, commerce, tech)
  • Early-stage startup roles
  • Commerce enablement, marketplace, e-retail structures
  • Digital transformation or innovation labs

Education

MBA, PGDM, Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Design Thinking or equivalent backgrounds.

Non-traditional but exceptional candidates will also be considered.
