This is a high-ownership role reporting directly to the founders. 🎯 Key Responsibilities: Architect and evolve the overall system — frontend, backend, APIs, data flows, security, and DevOps. Make foundational decisions on tech stack, system design, infrastructure, and scalability. Lead the packaging and delivery of the SaaS product — with clear attention to versioning, deployment models (single/multi-tenant), and product modularity. Drive design of core product modules, services, and integrations. Balance lean MVP delivery with long-term maintainability and performance. Set up engineering best practices: CI/CD pipelines, versioning, logging, monitoring, testing frameworks. Collaborate with the product manager and developers to ensure architecture aligns with business goals. Mentor developers, perform architecture/code reviews, and raise engineering standards. Lead choices around data modeling, caching, message queues, and event-driven design (if required). 🧠 Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in software architecture or senior engineering roles. Strong expertise in TypeScript across the stack. Hands-on experience with: React , Next.js (frontend, SSR, routing) NestJS or ExpressJS on Deno runtime MongoDB , schema design, optimization Proven experience in packaging and delivering a SaaS product — with focus on deployment, scalability, and customer onboarding. Deep understanding of system design, REST APIs, microservices, and API security. Experience deploying scalable web apps on platforms like Vercel , Render , or containerized setups (Docker/K8s optional). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , GitHub workflows, and DevOps fundamentals.
