Job Title: Store Manager Location: Castal Dies and Tools Department: Store/Inventory Management Experience: Minimum 2 years Qualifications: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) / Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Preferred Experience: Toolroom experience Job Description: Castal Dies and Tools is seeking a skilled and motivated Store Manager with a strong background in inventory management, mechanical engineering, and toolroom operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the efficient running of the store, ensuring that all materials, tools, and products are well-organized and properly stocked to meet production requirements. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a toolroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Manage the daily operations of the store, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely replenishment of stock. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure the availability of critical materials and tools for production. Maintain detailed records of stock movements and consumption to ensure effective stock control. Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of materials, tools, and spare parts as per production requirements. Work closely with the production team to understand their needs and provide the necessary materials on time. Toolroom Operations (Preferred Experience): Ensure the proper storage, maintenance, and repair of tools and machinery in the toolroom. Work with the production team to identify requirements for specific tooling needs and manage the repair and replacement process. Team Supervision: Supervise store personnel to ensure adherence to inventory control procedures and proper handling of tools and materials. Train and mentor team members to ensure they are well-versed in store processes and safety protocols. Quality Control: Ensure that all incoming materials and tools meet the quality standards required for production. Manage the disposal of obsolete or damaged materials and tools in accordance with company policy. Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all store operations comply with safety regulations and standards. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including tool storage and handling areas. Qualifications & Experience: Educational Requirements: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certification, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or Equivalent experience in a manufacturing or toolroom environment. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in store management, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and tools. Prior experience in a toolroom environment is highly preferred. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software. Good communication and leadership skills. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Familiarity with safety protocols in handling mechanical tools and machinery. Additional Information: The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for improving efficiency within the store. This role requires regular interaction with the production team, so strong interpersonal skills are essential.
