Urgent Requirement – Store Manager (Tool Room)📌 Vacancies: 01 Nos Joining: Immediate / Urgent Job Title: Store Manager – Tool Room Company: Castal Dies and Tools Location: Bhosari Department: Tool Room / Stores Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: Castal Dies and Tools is seeking an organized and experienced Store Manager for the Tool Room to handle inventory, tooling, consumables, and materials used in tool & die manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a Tool & Die industry, strong knowledge of shop-floor tools, and an ability to manage inventory systems efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Store ManagementManage and maintain inventory of tools, dies, consumables, spare parts, and raw materials used in the tool room. Track stock levels to avoid shortages and ensure uninterrupted production. Maintain accurate GRN, issue slips, stock registers, and material logs. Tool & Consumable HandlingIssue tools, inserts, cutters, gauges, and measuring instruments to toolroom staff. Monitor tool usage, wear, and replacement schedules. Ensure proper storage of high-value items like dies, inserts, carbide tools, and precision instruments. Procurement Coordination Coordinate with purchase department for tool and material requirements. Prepare indents/requisitions based on minimum stock levels. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials. Documentation & System Management Maintain records using ERP or inventory management software (preferred). Handle inward/outward materials, challans, and documentation. Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Tool Room Workflow Support Support machining, fitting, and assembly teams by ensuring tool availability. Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments. Assist in organizing dies, fixtures, and tool storage as per 5S standards. Safety & Housekeeping Ensure safe storage of materials, tools, and chemicals. Maintain cleanliness & organization in the tool room and store area. Qualifications & Skills: Education:Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, or related field. Experience:3–6 years experience in stores management, preferably in Tool & Die / Manufacturing industries. Experience with toolroom tools, consumables, and machining parts is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Knowledge of tool room items such as inserts, cutters, gauges, spares, etc. Familiarity with ERP / inventory management systems. Understanding of die components, machining parts, and toolroom workflow. Soft Skills: Strong coordination and communication skills Good planning & organizational ability Attention to detail Problem-solving skills Ability to work under time-sensitive requirements
