About The Opportunity
A senior procurement leadership role in the Technology & IT Services sector, supporting on-site operations across India. The position will lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations to drive cost-efficiency, compliance, and supply continuity for product and service portfolios.We are hiring an experienced procurement leader to own category strategies, negotiate high-value contracts, and partner with engineering, finance, and operations to deliver measurable commercial impact.Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned to business priorities—identify savings opportunities, consolidate spends, and optimise supplier portfolios.
- Lead end-to-end procurement lifecycle for critical indirect and direct categories: RFP/RFQ design, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and PO-to-pay handover.
- Negotiate commercial terms and master agreements to improve T&Cs, delivery SLAs, payment terms, and risk protections while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Build and manage supplier relationships and performance frameworks (KPIs, SLAs, scorecards); drive supplier performance improvements and continuity plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Engineering, Operations) to enable demand forecasting, budgeting, and procurement governance.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing procurement team; implement process improvements, automation, and analytics to increase efficiency and visibility.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of progressive procurement/sourcing experience; 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, high-value negotiations, and supplier management across IT, services, or manufacturing categories.
- Strong commercial acumen—experience driving TCO reductions, cost-avoidance, and measurable procurement savings.
- Hands-on experience with ERP procurement modules (SAP/Oracle/PeopleSoft) and PO-to-pay processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with procurement analytics or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/SQL) to generate insights and dashboards.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to influence senior leadership.
Preferred
- Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent.
- Experience in vendor risk management, compliance, and contract lifecycle management platforms (CLM).
- Prior experience leading procurement transformation, e-procurement rollouts, or category management programmes.
