Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join our growing team in the retail sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making support. Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

· Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads

· Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization

· Create dashboards and MIS reports for leadership and department managers

· Provide ROI analysis on promotions, marketing spend, and retail investments

· Support pricing, margin analysis, and profitability studies across different product categories

· Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams for business performance tracking

· Conduct ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario planning for strategic initiatives

· Participate in audits, internal reviews, and provide necessary documentation and data support.

· Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

· Utilize accounting software (Tally) for day-to-day transactions.

· Generate financial reports and insights using accounting tools.

· Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.

· Coordinate with banks for payments, loans, and financial transactions.

· Manage the team and provide training when needed.

· One point of contact to the Director

· Ensure compliance with accounting policies and tax regulations.

· Handle vendor payments, invoicing, and reconciliation.

· Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CA/MBA preferred)

· Minimum 8–9 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within retail or consumer-focused industries

· Strong understanding of retail finance KPIs, inventory management, sales cycles, and seasonal forecasting

· Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP tools (Tally/SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics)

· Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is a plus·

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Comfortable working from office and managing inter-department coordination

· Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
