Job Title: Technical Content Writer

Job Summary:
Are you a scientist with a passion for communication? We’re looking for a scientist with a passion for communication and skilled in scientific writing with expertise in chemistry. This role involves translating complex chemical concepts into engaging materials for researchers while ensuring clarity and precision.

Your role:

• Translate complex technical concepts in chemistry into articles and application notes, ensuring scientific accuracy and education to support customers in finding the right products and solutions for their workflows and making their buying decisions.
• Develop illustrations, charts, and graphs that bring chemistry topics to life. Coordinate with web designers to adhere to layout guidelines and internal graphic design team for support on layouts and sizing.
• Curate, audit, and optimize static webpage content, including image alt texts and keywords for brand consistency and SEO performance.
• Use Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to create and update webpages with proper formatting, metadata tagging, and intuitive content structure.
• Track, analyze, and optimize – maintain a structured content portfolio overview, monitor performance, and refine strategies to maximize engagement and impact.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, R&D scientists, Business Field Content Partners, Content Marketing team, Digital Marketing teams to ensure strategically aligned content, identify gaps, and drive impactful content development.
• Support marketing & sales by educating customers on product applications and technology

• Position company as a trusted expert in the field, establish thought leadership & expertise

• Foster customer trust, loyalty & retention with engaging content

• Support digital transformation by optimizing content for digital platforms

Who you are:

Minimum requirements:

• Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related scientific field, with a strong focus on and experience in instrumental analysis and data interpretation.
• PhD in chemistry a plus.
• Scientific writing & publication experience, having authored or co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles, protocols, technical reports, whitepapers.
• Hands-on laboratory and research experience in chemistry.

Preferred requirements:

• Strong skills in research, data interpretation, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging language.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, instrument automation, data analysis, AI-driven method development & tools, and regulatory standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in scientific visualization tools (e.g., ChemDraw, Adobe Illustrator, or similar) is a plus.
• Digital marketing skills in SEO, content strategy, web analytics is a plus.
