Role description

Role Proficiency:

Systematically develops and promotes technology solutions ensuring the developed solution meets both functional and non – functional requirements.

Outcomes:

  • Develop and promote technical solutions which support the business requirements within area of expertise.
  • Ensures IT requirements are met and service quality maintained when introducing new services. Considers the cost effectiveness of proposed solution(s).
  • Set FAST goals and provide feedback to FAST goals of mentees
  • Innovative and technically sound for project analysis in depth.
  • Uphold the standards and best practices by adhering to them in his/her work as well as by implementing them in the team’s work by reviewing and monitoring.
  • Provide innovative contribution within the team by coming up with ideas to automate repetitive work.
  • Able to mentor Developers in such a way that they can progress to the next level of growth.
  • Conduct peer reviews and demand high quality standards for the reviewed deliverables.
  • Conduct technical assessments for hiring candidates to Developer roles.

    Job Summary: We are seeking a UI Developer Lead to drive the design, architecture, and delivery of sophisticated web applications using Angular and modern UI frameworks. This role requires technical leadership, active involvement in architectural decisions, and mentoring of UI developers to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep Angular expertise, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership Define and oversee front-end architecture and best practices for Angular applications. Lead end-to-end technical design for complex UI features, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability. Drive adoption of modern UI frameworks, libraries, and patterns. Team Management & Mentoring Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of UI developers. Conduct regular code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and help grow team competency. Foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance. Project Delivery & Collaboration Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, backend teams, and DevOps engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality user interfaces. Act as the primary point of contact for UI-related aspects during project planning, estimation, and execution. Manage priorities and ensure timely delivery of features across multiple parallel streams when needed. Angular Development Hands-on involvement in developing critical components and complex modules in Angular. Create and enforce reusable component libraries and design systems. Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. AWS & Cloud Integration Utilize AWS services for UI deployments, security, performance monitoring, and integrations. Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Angular (latest versions), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3. Strong knowledge of state management (e.g., NgRx), RxJS, and modular architecture. Experience with libraries like AG-Grid, Angular Material, TailwindCSS, etc. Excellent understanding of API integration, RESTful principles, and security best practices. Experience setting up or working with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including deployment strategies. Qualifications & Experience: Experience: 10–12 years in front-end development, with 3+ years leading UI teams. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Certifications: Relevant frontend, cloud, or leadership certifications are an advantage. Preferred Attributes: Proven ability to mentor, motivate, and grow high-performing UI teams. Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Passion for UI/UX quality, staying current with emerging frontend trends and technologies. Ability to balance hands-on development with strategic architectural and leadership responsibilities.
