Specialist I - Software Engineering

As a Developer with a minimum of 9-12 years of experience, your role at this company involves systematically developing and promoting technology solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and promoting technical solutions that support business requirements within your area of expertise - Ensuring IT requirements are met and service quality is maintained when introducing new services, considering cost-effectiveness - Setting FAST goals and providing feedback to FAST goals of mentees - Conducting peer reviews and maintaining high-quality standards for reviewed deliverables - Mentoring Developers to help them progress to the next level of growth - Conducting technical assessments for hiring candidates to Developer roles You will be responsible for measuring outcomes based on adherence to engineering process and standards, defined productivity standards, schedule adherence, innovativeness, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to project schedules. Additionally, you will be expected to: - Independently develop code while maintaining best coding and engineering practices - Implement and monitor configuration processes - Create and review unit test cases and ensure 100% code coverage for unit testing - Sign off on templates, checklists, guidelines, and standards for design, process, and development - Create design documentation, requirements, and test cases - Proactively influence customer thought process and consider NPS Score for customer and delivery performance - Contribute to module-level development and manage project knowledge sharing assets - Assist others in resolving complex technical problems and manage all aspects of problem management activities In terms of skills, you should be able to proactively identify solutions for technical issues, estimate project effort, evaluate test results, break down complex problems, set goals, create technical presentations, and follow high levels of business etiquette. Your knowledge should include deep proficiency in specialist areas, technology stacks, programming languages, SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban methods, and architecting solutions on cloud-based infrastructures. The technologies you will be working with include C#, .Net core, React, SQL, Azure (mandatory), AWS (good to have), Snowflake (good to have), and ADO pipelines. You should have hands-on development experience on both front and backend, experience in REST APIs, ownership of end-to-end implementation, excellent communication skills, and experience in full software development life cycles.
