Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic

Sourcing Specialist & Analyst

to support the end-to-end supply chain and sourcing functions with a strong focus on

New Product Development (NPD)

. This role will be responsible for supplier identification, material sourcing, cost analysis, and supporting supply chain readiness for product launches, while continuously improving procurement efficiency and supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers aligned with project and NPD requirements.
  • Conduct RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Develop supplier cost analysis, capability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement to select suitable suppliers for prototypes and production.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.

Supply Chain Analysis & Operations:

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop supply chain models and KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure material readiness and logistical coordination for ongoing production and new product rollouts.
  • Use ERP and data tools to track inventory, forecast demand, and plan procurement.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts in cost optimization, lead-time reduction, and supply reliability.

New Product Development (NPD):

  • Partner with engineering, and project teams from concept to launch.
  • Source and validate suppliers and materials required for prototypes, pilot runs, and full-scale production.
  • Align supply chain activities with project milestones and development timelines.
  • Supplier qualification, and cost tracking during NPD cycles.
  • Ensure early supplier involvement and drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or procurement roles.
  • Proven experience in supporting New Product Development and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, sourcing processes, and vendor development.
  • Proficient in ERP systems , MS Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI/ Tableau).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
  • Exposure to global sourcing, contract manufacturing, or engineering-driven environments.
