We specialize in premium shower enclosures, floor drains, and bath fittings, with operations across Bangalore and Hyderabad and plans to expand pan-India. We’re looking for a Sourcing Executive to strengthen our supplier network, streamline procurement, and ensure best-in-class quality, pricing, and reliability across our hardware and product categories. Key Responsibilities1. Vendor Development & Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for hardware, glass, fittings, and packaging materials. Build relationships with suppliers across regions (Rajkot, Morbi, Mumbai, Foshan, etc.) to ensure supply reliability. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure optimal cost efficiency. Maintain vendor database with performance ratings and quality audit history. 2. Procurement & Order Management Issue POs based on approved requirements and ensure timely follow-up till dispatch. Track purchase orders, shipment status, and ensure on-time delivery to the warehouse. Coordinate with finance for payment releases and GRN confirmations. Maintain records of all purchases with supporting documentation and pricing history. 3. Costing, Benchmarking & Optimization Compare supplier quotations and maintain cost sheets for key SKUs. Continuously explore opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality. Track raw material price fluctuations (e.g., SS304 steel, aluminum profiles, glass, fittings) and update management. 4. Quality & Compliance Coordination Work with the operations and QC teams to ensure supplier adherence to BathStory’s specifications and quality standards. Escalate and coordinate resolution for defective or non-compliant materials. Periodically visit supplier factories for inspection and relationship building. 5. Inventory & Forecasting Alignment Collaborate with the operations team to align sourcing with production and installation forecasts. Maintain minimum reorder levels for fast-moving items and critical SKUs. Monitor slow-moving or obsolete stock and propose corrective action. Skills & RequirementsBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Mechanical / Commerce or related field. 2–4 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in hardware, sanitaryware, or building materials industries. Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and familiarity with ERP tools (Zoho Books/Inventory preferred). Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; Kannada/Hindi/Gujarati knowledge is a plus. Willingness to travel to vendor locations when required.
