Social Media Strategist

Role Overview:

As a Social Media Strategist, you will lead the development and execution of innovative, high-impact social media campaigns that align with client objectives. This is a hybrid role requiring strategic thinking, trend forecasting, content planning, client communication, and hands-on knowledge of platforms and tools. You will act as the driving force behind brand visibility and engagement across all key platforms.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

• Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to each client's goals and target audience.
• Create monthly content calendars and campaign frameworks across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
• Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm updates, and cultural moments to keep campaigns relevant and impactful.

Content & Campaign Oversight:

• Collaborate with designers, content writers, and video editors to bring creative campaigns to life.
• Guide the creative direction for posts, reels, stories, and social ads to ensure brand consistency and engagement.

Analytics & Performance Reporting:

• Track and analyze campaign metrics to measure success, identify improvement areas, and deliver clear, insightful reports to clients.
• Use data to refine content strategies and boost overall account performance.

Client Communication & Account Management:

• Act as the point of contact for assigned clients—managing expectations, presenting strategies, and addressing concerns.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, transparency, and results-driven service.

Team Collaboration & Leadership: 

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure timely execution and alignment of deliverables.
• Contribute ideas to team brainstorming sessions and support junior team members where needed.

Platform & Tool Expertise

• Strong working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Canva, analytics tools, and scheduling platforms.
• Explore emerging platforms (e.g., Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, TikTok) and test new features for early adoption opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Tier-1 institute preferred).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in social media marketing; agency experience is a plus.
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end social media strategies and paid campaigns.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of branding, content formats, and platform algorithms.
• Data-driven mindset with creative flair.
• Ability to multitask, manage multiple clients, and work in a fast-paced remote environment.
