Position Overview:

As a Video Editor at Keek Marketing, you will help create engaging video content for various platforms, collaborating with our creative and marketing teams. We are looking for a passionate and creative individual who loves history and storytelling to join our team as a History Content Creator & Social Media Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for editing engaging historical videos for YouTube and Instagram, creating compelling narratives, and managing our social media presence to grow and engage our audience. It's perfect for someone passionate about storytelling and looking to grow in the field of video editing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce engaging video content (short-form and long-form) for YouTube, Instagram, and other social platforms.
• Research and craft creative storytelling formats for historical topics.
• Manage the social media calendar, ensuring consistent posting and brand voice.
• Monitor platform trends and adapt content strategy to maximize reach and engagement.
• Write compelling captions, titles, and descriptions optimized for audience engagement and SEO.
• Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements for growth.
• Engage with the online community through comments, DMs, and collaborations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut).
• Strong interest in history and creative storytelling.
• Knowledge of social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and their algorithms.
• Creative mindset with an eye for trends, visuals, and engaging formats.
• Basic skills in graphic design or thumbnail creation (Canva, Photoshop preferred).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience in content writing or script writing.
• Familiarity with social media analytics & tools.
• Prior experience managing a YouTube or Instagram account.
