Role Overview

The position is focused on driving cybersecurity solution sales across the Indian market. The individual will lead business development, partner engagement, technical advisory, and go-to-market initiatives for security offerings, including endpoint, network, identity, and threat management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Sales Strategy
  • Develop and execute detailed business plans targeting system integrators and key end-customers.
  • Own and drive new business development, identify and convert high-potential leads.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for cybersecurity offerings.
  • Build a strong security pipeline and forecast demand accurately.
Partner Stakeholder Engagement
  • Identify, enable, and manage relationships with key partners including system integrators and IT security business stakeholders.
  • Ensure company is positioned as a preferred vendor for security solutions.
  • Work closely with regional leadership and segment heads to align business goals.
Customer Solution Focus
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, leading discussions on cybersecurity risk, compliance, and operational resilience.
  • Lead the design and implementation of security technologies such as:
    • Threat detection response
    • Network security IDS/IPS
    • Identity access management (IAM)
    • Endpoint security
    • Vulnerability management and compliance monitoring
Internal Collaboration Enablement
  • Collaborate with sales, services, and operations teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive internal enablement and training initiatives to enhance field capabilities.
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics across regions and teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Security Sales Target Achievement (revenue and volume)
  • Weekly business metrics: pipeline, forecast, coverage
  • GTM program success: ROI, engagement, conversion
  • Partner onboarding and enablement metrics
  • Customer satisfaction project win-rates

Education

Qualification Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Security certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar.

Experience

  • 8+ years in cybersecurity sales or business development roles.
  • Proven success selling endpoint and data security solutions in the India market.
  • Hands-on experience or strong understanding of security technologies such as:
    • SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, UTM, Endpoint Protection
    • Vulnerability Assessment Tools, Threat Intelligence Platforms
    • Active Directory Group Policy security
    • Windows/Linux security configurations

Skills

  • Strategic thinking with deep industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
  • Ability to articulate security value propositions to C-level and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or multi-vendor environments.
