Job Title: Senior Sales Executive

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / National Sales Head


1. Company Overview

We are a rapidly growing MSME milk processing company based in the vibrant city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. We are committed to delivering high-quality, fresh, and nutritious dairy products to our consumers. Our diverse portfolio includes Milk, Ghee, Curd, Ice Cream, Paneer, and Yoghurt. As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to spearhead our growth in the Delhi region.

2. Job Summary

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales within the assigned territory in Delhi. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies to expand our market presence, managing a robust distribution network, and building strong relationships with modern trade partners, general trade retailers, and potential institutional clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive sales professional with a proven track record in FMCG, specifically in the dairy or food & beverage sector.


3. Key Responsibilities

A. Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for the entire product portfolio within the Delhi territory.
  • Execute effective sales strategies to increase market share and brand visibility.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors, retailers, and sub-stockists to expand the distribution network.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing channel partners to ensure consistent offtake.

B. Distribution & Market Development:

  • Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and freshness (FIFO) at all points of sale.
  • Plan and execute beat plans for the field sales team (if any) or for self to cover the market systematically.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and provide regular feedback to the management.
  • Implement promotional activities and merchandising schemes as per the marketing calendar.

C. Key Account Management:

  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the Modern Trade segment (supermarkets, hypermarkets).
  • Explore and secure business from institutional clients such as hotels, restaurants, cafes (HORECA), and corporate canteens.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with key accounts to ensure profitable business.

D. Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, credit norms, and hygiene standards across the channel.
  • Manage inventory levels with distributors to minimize stock-outs and obsolescence.
  • Prepare and submit timely sales reports, market intelligence reports, and expense statements.

4. Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be an advantage.
  • Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales, with a strong preference for candidates from the dairy, food, or beverage industry.
  • Mandatory: Proven experience in handling General Trade and/or Modern Trade in the Delhi NCR market.

5. Competencies & Skills

  • Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Communication: Fluent in Hindi and proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driving License: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.
  • Analytical Ability: Capable of analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Resilience & Perseverance: Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to thrive in a competitive environment.

6. Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly Fixed Salary: upto ₹50,000/- per month
  • Other Benefits:
