We’ve perfected the technology in Australia and New Zealand and are in the process of rapidly expanding the reach of our industry leading technology globally.We are looking to improve the operations of our business through the recruitment of an Automation Tester who will work with the quality assurance and product to evaluate new and existing features and automate tests to identify and help remove bugs, glitches and other user experience issues.To adequately perform this role, the candidate should have solid communication skills and good technical understanding.
About The Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with 4-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining thorough documentation, adhering strictly to processes, and effectively managing version control and containerization tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to projects and processes.
- Follow established workflows and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Manage artifacts and repositories using JFrog.
- Configure and deploy services using Docker Compose.
- Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Use TortoiseSVN for source code management and version tracking.
- Write SQL queries as needed to support project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth software development and deployment cycles.
- Maintaining and expanding existing automation frameworks
- Addressing flaky tests & improving execution stability
- Enhancing test result reporting for better visibility
Requirements
- 5 + years of QA Test Engineering experience
- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies. Strong knowledge of process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of the software development process.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills. Solid QA testing skills. Attention to detail. Proven ability to develop and execute automated and performance testing.
- Basic understanding of working within budgets. Understanding of industry trends.
- Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement practices. Strong research skills (tools/root cause analysis).
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience working with JFrog Artifactory or similar artifact repository managers.
- Proficiency with Docker Compose and container management.
- Solid understanding of GitHub workflows and version control best practices.
- Familiarity with TortoiseSVN for source control.
- UI & Functional Testing: Selenium, .NET/C#, NUnit
- Reporting Metrics: Allure, NUnit
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases.
- Ability to follow processes and maintain thorough documentation.
