Senior HR Specialist – Total Rewards
We are seeking a Senior HR Specialist – Total Rewards to join our growing global HR team. This role will play a critical part in shaping and executing ZS’s compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring that our programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business priorities.
You will partner closely with HR Business Partners, corporate functions, and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights and innovative solutions that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This position requires a balance of strategic perspective and hands-on execution, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence across a global, matrixed environment.
What you’ll do
Compensation Strategy & Design

Drive key compensation initiatives, including market benchmarking, pay equity analysis, salary structure design, and incentive plan management.

Lead and support bi-annual compensation cycles (merit and bonus), ensuring accuracy, process efficiency, and alignment with firmwide principles.

Partner with HR and leadership to provide expert consultation on complex compensation matters, including job evaluations, promotions, and retention actions.

Analyze and present compensation insights, trends, and recommendations to senior stakeholders to guide decision-making.
Benefits & Wellbeing

Support the design, evaluation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, insurance, and wellness offerings.

Collaborate with vendors and brokers on renewals, benchmarking, and cost analyses to ensure competitiveness and employee satisfaction.

Contribute to global benefits harmonization efforts and wellbeing initiatives that align with ZS’s employee experience priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems

Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and Marcomms to ensure compliance, data integrity, and consistent execution of Total Rewards programs.

Maintain strong knowledge of the Human Capital Management (HCM) system (SAP SuccessFactors) to analyze, interpret, and process compensation-related data accurately.

Continuously enhance tools, dashboards, and reporting models to drive operational scalability and insight-based decisions.
Leadership & Collaboration

Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to HR and business leaders on compensation and benefits strategy.

Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and supporting their professional development.

Champion continuous improvement and innovation in Total Rewards processes and governance.
What you’ll bring
-
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field
-
8+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with demonstrated impact in a global or professional services organization

Deep understanding of India’s compensation and benefits landscape, including market practices, statutory requirements and evolving HR trends

Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders using data and storytelling.

Strong analytic skills/comfort in data analysis, including advanced MS Excel modeling & data manipulation skills and ability to manage reports & dashboards.

Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.

Global compensation experience and/or experience in a professional services or tech environment strongly preferred.

Strong experience with HCM systems (SAP SuccessFactors) and compensation planning tools.

Professional certifications such as CCP, PHR, or SHRM-CP are a plus.

Hybrid working model:
