Team Leader / Senior Recruiter – BFSI Hiring

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with BFSI clients and key stakeholders.
  • Deeply understand hiring requirements, business models, and organizational structures of banks, NBFCs, and fintech firms.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for recruitment delivery and performance discussions.
  • Ensure consistent client satisfaction through timely communication and proactive issue resolution.

Recruitment Delivery & Team Leadership

  • Lead a small team of recruiters focused on BFSI and financial services mandates.
  • Oversee sourcing, screening, and shortlisting of candidates for roles in sales, operations, credit, risk, collections, branch banking, and support functions.
  • Mentor and monitor team performance to ensure delivery within timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Drive best practices in candidate evaluation, interview preparation, and offer management.

Sourcing & Assessment

  • Leverage multiple channels including job boards, databases, referrals, social media, and headhunting to attract high-quality talent.
  • Conduct structured interviews and competency-based assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
  • Ensure high standards in candidate experience and employer branding throughout the recruitment cycle.

Process Excellence & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in the ATS.
  • Track and report key metrics such as TAT, offer-to-join ratio, and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and organizational standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 4–8 years of end-to-end recruitment experience with at least 2 years in BFSI hiring.
  • Proven experience managing a team or leading client accounts in recruitment delivery.
  • Deep understanding of the BFSI landscape, including roles, compensation structures, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, client management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and delivery orientation.
