As our new HR Business Partner, you will be part of an exciting time as we mature the support organisation. You will partner with business and enablement function/s globally and hence global/MNC exposure and experience is vital to ensure success of our business and HR strategy. You will work in a team of other HR Business Partners and People Advisors, reporting into a regional HR Head / Director and have an opportunity to spar with peers and work collaboratively with other HR professionals. You will be based in Chennai/NCR. You will be working in an open and horizontal environment where your point of view is welcomed and where you can make a difference to the growth of HR and the Company. Involvement in various exciting Business and HR projects will be part of the role and you will have the chance to collaborate with colleagues all around the world.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • As a strategic HR partner, work with senior management, business and enabling function leaders to align HR strategy and people priorities with Ramboll goals and objectives.
  • Develop a “Trusted Advisor” relationship with key leaders across various levels in the supported business group.
  • To engage, be aware and involved with external global HR communities, trends, global best practices and keep up to date with HR developments. Maintain strong collaboration with global CoEs and implement best people practices in business.
  • Counsel BU leadership on talent development, especially on strategies for critical / Hipots to enhance performance and capabilities aligned with organizational goals.
  • Coaches and counsel’s managers on effective management/supervisory skills that inspire high performing employees, Partners with people managers and recruiters to attract and retain a diverse, engaged multi-generational workforce.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote diversity and inclusion across the organization. Monitors employee engagement and works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Drive strategic elements of HR annual processes and initiatives (e.g., annual performance management, salary review, employee surveys, Talent Review, workforce planning, and organizational change etc.)
  • Drives implementation and delivery of strategic HR priorities
  • Monitor adherence to HR policies and consults/advise management on policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Adept at analysing reports from HRIS and other data resources/dashboards to advise BU leadership on business critical decisions.
  • Navigate complex global matrix organisation and stakeholders to ensure consultative good governance.

  • BA or Masters in HR or Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources
  • Strong background of offshoring environment
  • Should have minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an HRBP/ generalist
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, leadership skills
  • Professional English language skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Proven ability to effectively present to all levels and cross-functionally within the organization
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent consulting skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Strong advisory, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Comfortable within a high change evolving global organization
  • Comfortable navigating a matrix organisation and managing various key stakeholders including complex decision-making processes.
