The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical
Senior Financial Analyst
with a strong background in data-driven decision-making to join our team. This role is ideal for a business major with 8–10 years of experience who is fluent in online analysis tools including
Excel (advanced), Power BI, Power Query
, and other data visualization and modeling platforms.As a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, you will leverage your technical and business expertise to build and maintain venues which drive firm-wide performance, deliver automated reporting, and yield enable actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from various sources to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.
Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, MS Dynamics and related tools, and Excel, enabling leadership to make data-driven decisions.
Develop KPIs and performance metrics to monitor key business activities and improve operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with teams across finance, marketing, operations, and IT to understand data needs and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
Streamline and automate manual reporting processes using tools like Power Query, VBA, and macros in Excel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Systems.
- 8–10 years of experience
- Fluent w/supporting experience in online analysis tools including Excel (advanced), Power BI, Power Query, and other data visualization and modeling platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to consider & engage AI tools in the data management and business analytics space.
- Proven ability to work develop/train less experienced staff in said areas.
- Excellent organizational skills.
