Job Overview
Everest Group is looking for a Sr. Director, Digital Marketing, to play a pivotal role in driving our digital strategy and aligning our marketing and technologies to our GTM approach. This individual will be a key member of the marketing leadership team with oversight of all our digital channels, marketing operations, and enabling our complex, multichannel B2B approach through GTM optimization across the full spectrum of our team’s processes, people and technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical aptitude with a passion for data-driven digital engagement, technology projects, and team collaboration. Additionally, the candidate must be a detail-orientated collaborator with a bias for action who enjoys both the technical aspects of marketing operations, as well as the orchestration of campaigns and high-impact engagement. A successful team member will be proactive, a strategic thinker, and a swift executioner.
Digital skills
- Orchestration of data, technology and processes to enable the launch of cohesive, scalable campaigns.
- Able to develop campaigns based on the customer journey and think through the technical and emotional touchpoints of each stage of the campaign process.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze campaign performance data and identify areas for optimization and growth.
- Experience in all aspects of digital marketing i.e., SEO, social media, email campaign management, responsive web design and excellent at technical brainstorming and troubleshooting.
- Adept at social media strategy, planning, and driving high engagement relationship-first social media community building.
- Strong background with performance marketing, digital advertising strategy across global platforms with the ability to understand complex audience orchestration.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Marketo), CRM systems (Salesforce), ABM platforms (6sense), web (Wordpress), personalization platforms (i.e.,. Adobe Target), and analytics tools (G4, Data Studio, PowerBI a plus).
- Executing marketing campaigns that raise brand awareness, generate leads, and nurture existing leads.
- A passion for digital marketing that results in clear, measurable business impact.
- Stay abreast of the changing digital landscape and the many new features and changes to technology, platforms, processes, etc., and communicate and collaborate across organization on threats and opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Drive overall digital strategy with an emphasis on actionable business outcomes
- Develop strong relationships across the organization including, IT, Marketing, Business and Operations, RevOps, Sales, and analyst leaders to establish channel strategies that are aligned and effectively supported by core marketing operations.
- Partner with the digital team to own, manage and evolve the marketing technology stack with the ability to quickly learn and manage multiple technology platforms.
- Integrate with cross-functional teams, ensure alignment and foster collaboration on firm objectives
- Continuously assess, manage, and optimize existing processes, systems and technology to adapt to evolving business needs and industry best practices.
- Support data-driven decision-making by implementing, retrieving, and analyzing available data to generate insights, identify gaps, and improve the marketing funnel.
- Stay abreast of the changing digital marketing landscape and the many new features and changes. Communicate and collaborate on threats and opportunities.
- Present new data-driven ideas and strategy for improvements.
- Develop and optimize reporting to measure effectiveness, performance and return on marketing investments. Define metrics for success and A/B test, measure, iterate and report campaign performance to optimize campaigns across channels and accelerate the impact of programs.
- Support data-driven decision-making by implementing, retrieving, and analyzing available data to generate insights, identify gaps, and improve the marketing funnel.
- Plan for the scalability of marketing operations to support company growth and expansion.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of marketing experience
- Should be familiar with a range of data, marketing, analytics, and automation technologies
- Marketo and Salesforce certifications preferred, strong background in both required
- Experience with the 6sense platform
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks
