In this role, you will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights through visually compelling and highly interactive dashboards. You will partner with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to shape data into meaningful stories that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. What You’ll Do Design and develop enterprise-level dashboards and data products using leading BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Extract, process, and transform large volumes of structured and semi-structured data using SQL on Azure databases and PySpark. Collaborate with data engineers to define scalable data models and pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Lake and Databricks. Apply data storytelling best practices to create clear, impactful visualizations aligned with business goals and KPIs. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver user-centric reports. Optimize dashboard performance and data query efficiency for large-scale and real-time data environments. Uphold data integrity and consistency across visualization layers, ensuring trust in the data presented. Mentor junior team members, review visualization logic, and contribute to team-wide design standards. Stay ahead of industry trends and continually improve data presentation techniques and tools. What You Bring 6+ years of experience in data visualization, BI development, or related fields. Deep expertise in SQL Azure: proficient in crafting complex queries, database optimization, and schema design. Hands-on experience with PySpark for handling distributed data processing and big data workloads. Strong command of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent, with a portfolio of production-grade dashboards. Solid knowledge of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes in cloud environments. Proven ability to distill complex data into digestible visuals tailored for different levels of business stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working in Agile teams with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demos. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Databricks. Experience with DAX or MDX for complex calculations and dynamic reporting within BI tools.
