SAP GTS/GTM - Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End-to-end implementation of SAP GTS/GTM projects, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with client objectives.
  • Lead and participate in all phases of SAP GTM implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Configuration & Testing of GTM Module which includes:
    • Setup for Trading Contract.
    • Copy controls for Trading Contract
    • Item Categories, Purchase & Sales Group configuration
    • Pricing Simulation
    • Association Management
    • Expense Management: Payable & Receivable Expense
    • Business Process Setup.
  • Analyze business processes and requirements related to global trade compliance, import/export regulations, customs management, and logistics.
  • Design and configure SAP GTM modules to meet client-specific business needs, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations and best practices
  • Lead the integration of SAP GTM/GTS with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) modules to streamline global trade transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP GTM modules, including Customs Management, Compliance Management, Risk Management, and Logistics Execution. 
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, customizing SAP GTM/GTS modules to meet client needs effectively.
  • Conduct workshops and requirement gathering sessions with clients to identify pain points, design solutions, and recommend best practices.
  • Configure and optimize SAP GTM/GTS modules, including but not limited to Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management, to enhance trade operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to integrate SAP GTM/GTS with other enterprise systems and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Tailor SAP GTS modules to meet specific business needs, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Foster collaboration among diverse teams and external partners to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions to empower end-users with the knowledge and skills required to leverage SAP GTS effectively.
  • Provide ongoing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and support to uphold system integrity and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of evolving SAP GTS functionalities and regulatory compliance standards, offering proactive insights and recommendations.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience of 5-10 years in implementing and supporting SAP GTS solutions, with a profound understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP GTM implementation and configuration.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP GTM modules, including Customs Management, Compliance Management, Risk Management, and Logistics Execution.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP TM).
  • Proficiency in configuring SAP GTS/GTM modules, particularly Customs Management and Risk Management, to address client-specific requirements.
  • Preferably skilled in SAP S/4HANA and adept at integrating SAP GTS/GTM with other SAP modules to achieve holistic business solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, essential for effective project management and client engagement.
  • Possession of SAP GTS certification is considered advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and industry expertise.
