We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior SDET
to join a collaborative, cross-functional agile team responsible for delivering high-quality software systems for flagship products such as
Microsoft Office Add-ins
,
IDE extensions
, and
financial applications
. This role requires a strong blend of automation expertise, manual testing precision, and excellent communication skills. This role will work as part of a scrum team, collaborating with business analysts and developers.
Essential Skills And Experience
- 5+ years of experience in test automation for web & desktop applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and automation tools like WebdriverIO or Selenium
- Analyse software and quality requirements and document test plans
- Design, develop, review and implement integration, system, acceptance and end-to-end test strategies
- Assess and report on software risk and release readiness which includes Production monitoring and Production issues investigation along side dev and business stake holders
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and test automation frameworks.
- Manual testing expertise with a strong eye for detail and ability to identify edge cases with rreadiness to combine automatic and manual testing
- Experience testing multi-tier, on-prem, and cloud-based integrated solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with testing extensions in IDE’s or Office Products (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
- Understanding financial systems such as trading platforms, market data, or portfolio management—is a plus but not required.

- Deliver high-quality, on-time software releases that meet client and business requirements.
- Work effectively within an inclusive, collaborative culture across global teams.
- Perform both automated and manual testing with a strong eye for detail, ensuring thorough validation of complex systems and edge cases
- Ensure consistent application of software testing best practices and quality standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and coverage.
- Actively participate in project planning sessions to analyze requirements and provide accurate work estimates.
- Align testing efforts with business and technical priorities, ensuring a clear understanding of customer needs.
- Ability to document test cases, report bugs clearly, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Present and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, leadership, and management.
