Job Description

As a highly skilled Senior SDET, you will be joining a collaborative, cross-functional agile team responsible for delivering high-quality software systems for flagship products such as Microsoft Office Add-ins, IDE extensions, and financial applications. Your role will involve a strong blend of automation expertise, manual testing precision, and excellent communication skills. You will work as part of a scrum team, collaborating with business analysts and developers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyse software and quality requirements and document test plans - Design, develop, review, and implement integration, system, acceptance, and end-to-end test strategies - Assess and report on software risk and release readiness, including Production monitoring and investigation of Production issues alongside development and business stakeholders - Perform manual testing with a strong eye for detail, identifying edge cases and combining automatic and manual testing - Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and coverage - Document test cases, report bugs clearly, and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences - Work effectively within an inclusive, collaborative culture across global teams - Align testing efforts with business and technical priorities - Participate in project planning sessions to analyze requirements and provide accurate work estimates **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in test automation for web & desktop applications - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and automation tools like WebdriverIO or Selenium - Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and test automation frameworks - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and version control systems like Git - Experience testing multi-tier, on-prem, and cloud-based integrated solutions **Desired Skills:** - Typescript/Javascript - Selenium, WebDriver IO, Mocha framework, Postman, Python - CI/CD, testing automation tools and frameworks - Microsoft Azure Dev Ops - MSFT Office, Visual Studio Code, JupyterLab, PowerBI, Jira, TestRail - Experience working with Microsoft Office add-in and Visual Studio Extensions - Agile methodologies, Scrum, SAFe In addition to the technical skills, as a candidate, you should possess crucial personal skills and values such as being adaptable, creative, a self-learner, and a phenomenal teammate. Strong ownership, excellent communication skills, and a sharp eye for detail will be essential for this role.
