With an innovation-driven culture and presence across 54+ countries, we deliver cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing excellence. 🌐 Visit us: www.tech-long.in 🎯 Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Senior Automation Engineer to independently lead the machine power-up, testing, and commissioning processes for our high-speed packaging machinery. This role requires hands-on expertise in PLC & HMI programming, testing automation systems, and effective team coordination. 🔧 Key Responsibilities Independently lead complete machine power-up to final trial testing. Organize and manage workflows, resources, and SOPs for automation assembly and testing. Train and guide new team members on automation standards and procedures. Prepare and execute production plans and ensure timely task completion. Inspect machine safety interlocks, electrical parameters, and quality standards per customer contracts. Prepare test reports, document trials, and maintain product records. Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams for smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations . Conduct internal audits and support continuous process improvement. ⚙️ Technical Skills Required Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in PLC & HMI programming (preferably Siemens : TIA Portal V15/V16/V17, WinCC Flexible). Sound understanding of electrical manuals , circuit diagrams, and machine wiring . Proficient in communication protocols : Ethernet/LAN, Profinet, Profibus. Experience with servo drives , parameter setting, and advanced sensor integration. Ability to handle control panels , IO checks, interlocking, and machine integration. Knowledge of safety standards , machine compliance, and control logic testing. ✅ Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering . 6–8 years of relevant hands-on experience in industrial automation. Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
