Senior Automation Engineer

As a Senior Automation Engineer (Maintenance), your primary role is to ensure the optimal performance of automated systems through preventive and corrective maintenance, fault resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your focus will be on maximizing equipment uptime, reliability, and efficiency in a highly automated environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for automated machinery, control systems, robotics, and PLC-based systems. - Troubleshoot complex automation issues involving PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, servo drives, and industrial sensors. - Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for automation systems. - Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions. - Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new automation equipment. - Collaborate with production, process, and quality teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime. - Review and update technical documentation, including maintenance logs, manuals, and procedures. - Monitor and optimize system performance to reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs. - Train and mentor junior automation and maintenance technicians. - Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. - Proven experience in industrial automation maintenance. - Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, servo drives, and industrial sensors. - Ability to work in a highly automated environment and troubleshoot complex issues. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
