Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Deal Origination & Evaluation

Assist in sourcing buy-side and strategic acquisition opportunities globally, with a focus on India and the US.
Evaluate inbound opportunities, teasers, CIMs, technology profiles, and management presentations.
Conduct detailed industry and competitor research, including mapping target universes in IT services and tech.

Financial Analysis & Modelling

Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and operating scenarios.
Prepare investment memos, IC notes, and management dashboards.
Support commercial, financial, and operational due diligence processes.

Deal Execution

Manage end-to-end workstreams including data room management, diligence Q&A, and coordination with legal, tax, and technical advisors.
Prepare marketing materials, pitch decks, and target outreach documents.
Track project timelines and support negotiation-led analyses including SPA terms, valuation bridges, and closing adjustments.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Engage with founders, CFOs, and leadership teams of target companies.
Prepare and present deliverables for internal IC as well as external stakeholders.
Maintain CRM and pipeline tracking for effective execution visibility.

Qualifications

5–8 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction advisory, consulting, or corporate development.
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Experience in technology, IT services, or software sectors preferred.
MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent qualification.
