The Opportunity

SEO Lead -

You will lead the full-cycle SEO and SEM strategy, mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and drive measurable growth across organic and paid search channels.

This is a high-impact role where you will shape digital visibility, brand authority, and performance-driven acquisition for the organization.


Your Mission, Your Impact

As the SEO/SEM Leader, you’ll be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing initiatives that maximize ROI, organic reach, paid campaign efficiency, and conversion outcomes. You will work closely with leadership, product, content, and development teams to align search strategy with business growth.

Your work will directly influence brand visibility, lead generation, traffic quality, and digital performance across markets.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive

    SEO and SEM strategies

    aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Ensure search strategy aligns with broader marketing and organizational initiatives.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead, mentor, and guide junior SEO/SEM team members.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and high-performance marketing execution.

Advanced Data Analysis

  • Use advanced analytics tools to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
  • Leverage data to refine, optimize, and scale SEO/SEM performance for maximum ROI.

SEM & Campaign Management

  • Oversee all SEM campaigns, ensuring budget alignment and hitting performance KPIs.
  • Manage PPC campaigns across

    Google, Bing, Yahoo

    , and paid platforms on

    LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook

    , etc.
  • Optimize search ads, retargeting, audience segments, and landing page performance.

SEO Strategy & Performance Management

  • Lead keyword research, on-page optimization, content optimization, and link-building initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay aligned with SEO trends and algorithm updates.
  • Strengthen domain authority through strategic off-page SEO.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with

    product, content, and development teams

    to ensure SEO best practices are applied across websites and content.
  • Support content strategy with SEO insights and recommendations.

Conversion & Lead Optimization

  • Drive conversion optimization initiatives using advanced techniques, tools, and A/B testing.
  • Improve funnel performance and enhance CVR across organic and paid channels.

Reporting & Strategy Optimization

  • Provide strategic-level SEO/SEM performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Recommend refinements and next-step strategies based on insights.

Guest Blogging & Partnerships

  • Manage guest posting, third-party content collaborations, and external partnerships to elevate brand visibility and authority.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, changes in algorithms, emerging tools, and best practices.
  • Evaluate new SEO/SEM tools and techniques that can support growth goals.


Must-Have Requirements

Experience & Expertise

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SEO/SEM with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Deep expertise in crafting and executing complex search strategies.

Advanced Tool Mastery

  • Proficiency in Ahrefs, SEMRush, Ubersuggest, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Keyword Planner, SEO Audit Tools, Hotjar, and other analytics platforms.

Strategic & Analytical Strength

  • Strong ability to design long-term SEO/SEM strategies and measure their impact.
  • Extensive experience with

    A/B testing and multivariate testing

    for engagement and conversion optimization.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Experience leading SEO/SEM teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, content, and engineering teams.

Technical & Marketing Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ability to collaborate with developers on SEO improvements.
  • Expertise across organic and paid search, including Google, Bing, Yahoo, social ads, and retargeting.
  • Strong grasp of SEO content creation, Wikipedia content optimization, and off-page SEO.

Educational Qualifications

  • BS/BCom/MCom/BE/MSc degree with Digital Marketing or relevant certifications.

Up-to-date Industry Awareness

  • Deep understanding of Google updates, search algorithms, and evolving trends in SEO and SEM.
