To design, develop, and support SAP ABAP solutions focused on automotive EDI IDoc processing, cumulative quantity handling, and EDI operational reporting, while collaborating closely with SAP CPI B2B integrations. The role ensures stable, high-volume EDI execution and strong visibility across DEROMA’s automotive supply chain, with the ability to contribute directly to the CPI B2B area making this role exceptionally valuable.
Key Objectives of this Role

Own ABAP Development for Automotive IDoc Processing: Develop and enhance inbound and outbound IDoc logic supporting automotive EDI scenarios.
Ensure Accurate Scheduling Agreement & Cumulative Quantity Handling: Implement robust validation and reconciliation logic for forecast, JIT, and call-off messages.
Support ASN & Shipping Execution: Enable reliable outbound ASN processing integrated with EWM and delivery execution.
Deliver EDI Reporting & Dashboards: Build ABAP reports and data extracts providing visibility into EDI volumes, failures, cumulative mismatches, and partner performance.
Collaborate Deeply with CPI B2B Teams: Work closely with CPI B2B/TPM consultants to align SAP-side logic with mapping and runtime behavior.
Contribute Directly to CPI B2B (Differentiator): Where capable, support CPI B2B activities such as mapping adjustments, partner troubleshooting, and runtime analysis—reducing handoffs and resolution time.
Stabilize High-Volume EDI Operations: Rapidly analyze and resolve IDoc and CPI-related issues impacting production or outbound shipments.
Support Global Rollouts: Adapt EDI logic and reporting for new plants, customers, and trading partners with minimal rework.

IDoc posting success rate for automotive messages (>99%).
Reduction in cumulative quantity-related failures and manual corrections.
Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) for EDI production issues.

Reporting & Visibility KPIs

Availability, accuracy, and adoption of EDI operational dashboards.
Reduction in manual EDI monitoring and firefighting.
Business satisfaction with EDI transparency and insights.

Effectiveness of collaboration across ABAP and CPI B2B layers.

oResolve recurring DELFOR, DELJIT, DELORD, ASN, and billing issues across SAP and CPI.

oIDoc and CPI runtime dashboards showing success/failure trends.
oPartner-level EDI performance and cumulative mismatch reporting.

Support New Site & Customer Enablement

oAdapt ABAP IDoc logic and, where applicable, CPI B2B configurations for new sites.
oSupport cutover activities including cumulative quantity alignment.

Improve Error Handling & Reprocessing Across Layers

oEnhance IDoc error messaging and reprocessing utilities.

AMS Readiness & Knowledge Transfer

oDocument end-to-end EDI flows covering SAP IDocs and CPI B2B.
