SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming and will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP applications to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs for SAP applications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform unit testing and debugging of ABAP programs to ensure quality and performance.
• Optimize existing ABAP code for improved efficiency and maintainability.
• Support SAP system upgrades and enhancements by analyzing impact on existing ABAP programs.
• Document technical specifications and maintain detailed records of development activities.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-13 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools.
• Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, HR, and FI is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA is a plus.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in ABAP.
• Proficient in using debugging tools and performance analysis in ABAP.
• Experience with IDOC, BAPIs, RFC, and enhancement techniques.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
