Job Description: Salesforce Business Analyst – Bilingual (English & Japanese)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Business Analyst with over a decade of experience in leading enterprise-scale CRM programs. The ideal candidate will be proficient in requirement elicitation, stakeholder engagement, functional solution design, and business process optimization across Salesforce platforms. The candidate must be fluent in both English and Japanese, with the ability to front-end customer discussions, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and collaborate closely with onshore and offshore teams.

Responsibilities:

• Engage directly with business stakeholders, product owners, and client SMEs in both English and Japanese to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into well-documented functional and non-functional requirements
• Create and maintain detailed user stories, process maps, use cases, and acceptance criteria aligned with Salesforce best practices
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure solution alignment and mutual understanding across multilingual and multicultural settings
• Lead and participate in requirements workshops, solution demonstrations, sprint reviews, and UAT sessions
• Support product backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization in Agile/Scrum environments
• Provide guidance during system integration and user acceptance testing phases, including test case creation and defect triage
• Drive business process reengineering initiatives to maximize Salesforce platform capabilities and promote standardization
• Support change management, training, and user enablement in both Japanese and English
• Ensure compliance with regional regulatory requirements and enterprise governance standards

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total experience with a minimum of 6+ years in Salesforce Business Analysis across multi-cloud implementations
• Fluent in both English and Japanese, with proven ability to lead workshops, write documentation, and present to stakeholders in both languages
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AppExchange solutions
• Strong understanding of CPQ processes
• Deep familiarity with Agile delivery models, Jira/Confluence usage, and global delivery coordination
• Experience working with cross-functional teams involving developers, architects, testers, and release managers
• Exposure to data migration, integration (REST/SOAP APIs), and third-party systems
• Strong analytical skills, business process modelling experience, and attention to detail
• Salesforce Certified Administrator and at least one Consultant-level Salesforce certification (Sales/Service Cloud)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience supporting clients in Japan is strongly preferred

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.
• Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery teams
• Experience with multi-org and multilingual Salesforce environments
• Working knowledge of Japanese regulatory or business process frameworks

Language Requirements:

• JLPT 2 or native Japanese speaker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
