THE ROLE

 

Our Salesforce Team is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Lead to join our global team (7 offices) of rock stars and help take our organization to the next level. 

Proficient in both functional and technical aspects of Salesforce and capable of leading a QA team to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom applications), and team management with strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. 


You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing QA activities, mentoring team members, driving quality improvements, and ensuring transparent reporting of testing progress and metrics. 


The role is a permanent position based in India 

 

Responsibilities

 


  • Test Strategy, Planning & Execution 
  • Lead the planning, creation, and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce applications. 
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage by analysing business requirements and technical specifications. 
  • Oversee functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities along with hands-on. 

 

 

 

  • Test Planning & Execution: 

 

  • Develop, document, and execute test cases and test scripts for Salesforce applications. 
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage by analyzing business requirements and technical specifications. 
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. 

 

  • Team Leadership & Coordination 
  • Manage and mentor the QA team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. 
  • Allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of testing deliverables. 
  • Foster collaboration between QA, development, and business teams to resolve issues effectively. 

 

  • Defect & Quality Management 
  • Oversee the defect lifecycle, ensuring proper logging, prioritization, and closure using organization standards & processes. 
  • Drive quality improvements and process enhancements identified in the project. 

 

  • Automation 
  • Guide the team in identifying Regression suitable for automation and build test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or others. 
  • Maintain and optimize existing automation suites to improve efficiency. 
  • Reporting & Communication 
  • Prepare QA metrics and progress updates to senior management. 
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. 

 

  • Documentation: 
  • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. 
  • Prepare test summary reports and metrics to track testing progress and outcomes. 

 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of QA experience, including at least 3 years in Salesforce testing. 
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom applications, Experience cloud). 
  • Experience testing integration tools like Mulesoft or Boomi. 
  • Hands-on experience with QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management tools. 
  • Hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman/ swagger or any other tool. 
  • Automation experience with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar. 
  • Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) is highly desirable. 
  • Proven experience in leading QA teams, managing workloads, and delivering on timelines. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Fluent and effective communication skills, capable of managing discussions with stakeholders and reporting to leadership. 
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a strong plus.
