Role Overview

Sales Specialist – Events

This role requires a strong understanding of the event and brand activation ecosystem and the ability to position Storm’s expertise to both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Lead Generation:

• Identify and pursue new clients in the events, activations, and experiential marketing domain.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve set revenue and business growth targets.
• Maintain a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry research.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and nurture relationships with brand managers, marketing heads, and procurement teams.
• Understand client marketing goals and challenges to propose customized event solutions.
• Act as the liaison between clients and internal creative, production, and operations teams.

3.Sales & Pitching:

• Prepare detailed proposals, budgets, and presentations for client pitches.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals effectively.
• Ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction post-sale.

4.Market Research & Industry Insights:

• Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and new opportunities in the experiential space.
• Share insights with the leadership and strategy teams to refine business positioning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 3–6 years of experience in

  event sales, brand activations, or experiential marketing

  (Agency /Media - Radio/ TV)

• Strong client network and understanding of event production processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, result-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as in teams.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
